Disabling or turning Facebook chat off on android device is sometimes a little tricky for some people. This article is about “how to turn off Facebook chat on android mobile whether you are using Facebook messenger or using FB chat without messenger.
Turn off FB chat on Android when you are not using Facebook messenger:
- Open the facebook android app on your android device and browse the online chat list of FB friends by touching the highlighted button as shown in image.
- Now open the setting by touching the setting icon from right top corner as shown in figure.
- A popup will appear with on/off button, from here you can turn off FB chat on android.
- If you want to turn on the FB chat again, simple press the turn off button.
Turn off FB chat on Facebook messenger on android mobile:
Facebook messenger is very handy and useful apps for facebook users, which provide some extra features to FB voice and video calls. Turn chat off on FB messenger is pretty simple.
- Open FB messenger and browse the chat list and then go to active FB friends. This make appear your own contact where you can find on/off button. Press this button for turning off FB chat.
- You can turn on your FB chat on Facebook messenger by pressing again same ON/OFF button on screen.
